Stone Stack - Line drawings to potential pattern Developement

This was a line-drawing I made from some of the stacks I had made out on one of my walks. I enjoyed the contrast of the naturally formed rocks being stacked in a very man-made fashion.

I wanted to capture the movement of the rocks as if they were almost about to fall over, sort of balancing off nothing.

I though these would look very appealing compositionally against a natural background, almost posed like Robert Smithson's “Yucatan Mirror Displacements'' breaking up yet reflecting the the surrounding environment. I have put the example down below.
